Painting w/acrylics and grout

I decided to work on a couple of small 11 x 14 images working with acrylics and grout. I painted a black background and than did some shapes with grout. I let the grout dry overnight and the next day added some color. I thought it came out ummm … interesting. I have used grout before but usually in and as an abstract element in a image. It was relatively easy to shape and started to set after about 15 minutes. For the middle image I made a paper template and used that to help with the shape and design.
